Online Safety Statement

At Elmley Castle C of E First School, keeping every child safe online is a vital part of our safeguarding responsibility. We teach our pupils how to use technology safely, respectfully and responsibly, helping them to make wise choices as they navigate the digital world. Through our curriculum, assemblies and daily practice, children learn how to recognise risks, seek help when needed, and behave with kindness and integrity online.

Working in partnership with parents and carers, we promote a culture where children feel confident, supported and protected. Our filtering and monitoring systems, staff training, and clear procedures ensure that pupils can learn and explore in a secure online environment.

Rooted in our Christian vision, we encourage every child to use their gifts positively and responsibly—online and offline. By developing safe digital habits and showing care for others, our children learn to let their light shine, becoming positive, respectful and responsible digital citizens.
